Property News Water Rates – skyrocketing again!: We have received the notice
of water rate increases effective July 1, 2010. The notice is available for owner review by
visiting the Advisory Committees Reports page. Unfortunately, the West Molokai Association (the “WMA“) did not prevail in its contest of the proposed water rates considered by Hawai’i Public Utilities Commission. For details on this critically important process, please click on the following link: wmahome.org/news. Swimming Pool Refurbishment The swimming pool area restoration project including restoring the tile and coping, as well as the deck surface is being done in two phases: Ø The second phase, refurbishment of the swimming pool deck began on July 23rd and is proceeding well. The anticipated pool area re-opening is now Monday, August 2. Ø The first phase involving replacement of the coping and tile around the water line has been completed.
